The fruit is sourced from nairne, the shinning rock vineyard (planted 2000) which is 400m above sea level. the vineyard is planted to 4 shiraz/syrah clones. similar schist found here as the legendary côte-rôtie appellation of france. We hand picked the fruit and conducted a bunch of small ferments. 25% new french oak. There was a sulphur addition prior to bottling. no fining or filtration. A total of 180 dozen produced.
