Apparently there are now more Pinot Gris vines in Australia than there are Riesling vines and there are more Pinot Gris vines in Australia than in France! In France, Pinot Gris is grown in Alsace, in Australia it is grown everywhere. Region and climate are as important as winemaking style. Our Pinot Gris is all from cool climate vineyards yielding less than 2 tonne/acre.
